Delighted to welcome the first artist on the site today and I really hope more follow ,take a look at the Artists page and the work of instagrammar @AllsortsByBen.
Is#Warrington the next music town?
Now , I’m bound to say it is because I live here but here’s the thing .
1. #Warrington hosts a major festival – The Neighbourhood Weekender . Ok , so there is no camping but that’s only because it lies in a heavily built up area. 2. #Warrington hosts #Creamfields , another big event for the ravers and they come far and wide! 3. Warrington hosts #Glastonferry – a well attended event with some excellent tribute bands on show. 4. A Warrington local pub #TheCheshireCheese has now launched it’s own mini acoustic/electro acoustic festival for original music! Fantastic … 5. The town and surrounding villages host several open mic nights throughout the week and the pubs and social clubs have plenty of live music on offer every weekend , not forgetting the prestigious Parr Hall which has seen many headliners perform there.
With access to the town from all directions and 2 train stations , plenty of eateries and bars in the town of various types , is #Warrington experiencing ,and perhaps leading , a live music revival after the heady days of Mr Smiths and Hit Man and Her?

None of your Red Leicester or Cheddar on offer here but if you are fan of the acoustic sets and original material ( might be a few covers…..) then this could be for you . 2pm start on on the 29th July @thecheshirecheese pub in Latchford , Warrington WA41JH. Wristbands go on sale at the pub on Sat 1st July for £2! so come along and support your local musicians and some very fine visiting guests as well! Should be a great day and tickets will probably sell out quickly . #KeepMusicLive

Really excited about our first band to be published on the site . The nice lads of #MuddyElephant have kindly agreed to a chat and a pint about their music , dreams and desires at #Cheesefields when they play an electro-acoustic set . #Warrington Music Fest 3rd June 2023
Well , new music lovers , did you go? We did and what a great day out , 11am – 11pm and all free!! Some great music from up and coming new bands and vocalists. A very well organised day out in a safe location , access to cafes and snacks , bars and all undercover just in case. Looked like the kids enjoyed themselves early in the day as well , plenty of room to whizz about in a friendly atmosphere and bothering nobody .
We had our favourites of course and will report on those as soon as we can but all should be congratulated on a wonderful day with some fine performances , don’t miss it next time folks , you could be watching the next big thing! Well done Warrington.
